Pumpkin Party

I realized that the pumpkin pictures hadn't made it on here yet.

This was the first year Kyle carved his own pumpkin. He was pretty excited--until he had to clean out the pumpkin.  He didn't want to get dirty and slimy.
Look--her shirt matches her pumpkin!

Katelyn decided to paint her pumpkin again this year.  I guess seeing the mess of Kyle's pumpkin was enough for her.
EEEWWW!!!

We bought a little pumpkin carving set with a teeny-tiny saw and a sad excuse for a scoop/scraper.  It turned out great for those little fingers.  I'm glad Daddy was supervising.  Brad did the curved parts, but Kyle was able to do most of the cutting all by himself.  He's so grown up!

We Love Our Daddy

A big THANK YOU to my wonderful husband for everything he does.  You are AWESOME!  The kids and I are so happy to have you home.  We love you!

I Love Pie!

Around Thanksgiving I was really missing family--especially Grandma Campbell's Banana Cream Pie!
So, we attempted to make one of our own.  Ready made crust is such a blessing!
My assistant was very happy to get to help.

Katelyn is an expert sprinkle shaker.
Great job, Sweetie!

Me

Truth be told, I'm not really happy to see these pictures.  I do love being with my kids, though.  I think they look a bit like me.  Go figure!

Camera Hams

More pictures of my gorgeous kids.  Could Katelyn's eyes be any bluer?  I wish I knew what Kyle was looking at or thinking in the last one.  What a goof!

Homework Time

This is one of my favorite pictures!  It shows my children's true selves.  We'd just gotten home from school and were supposed to be doing homework.  They were so quiet, I thought they were actually doing what they were told.  Silly me!  I guess you had to be there.  Glad they get along a few times during the day.

(Now that I look closer at their clothes, this must have been picture day.)

Puppy Love

The kids still love the dog, and she definitely loves them!  I wonder if Kelsey knows she's a dog.  She does everything like a person--right down to stealing pillows for the floor!  These couple of pictures were just everybody goofing off.  They all do this a lot together.  Pretty cute!  On the third one down, does anyone else think that Katelyn and Kelsey look the same?  Just the same face, thinking the same thing, "Mom, what are you doing here?"  There's also the one ear up on the dog, and a floof of hair with the blanket in the same spot on the child. Hmm....
